Norfield Associates, Inc. is a third-party independent adjusting firm that investigates liability insurance claims for insurance companies. The claims we investigate range from trips and falls, slips and falls and dog bites to workers' compensation claims, bar altercations and automobile accidents.
Entry level · Insurance Investigator
What the work looks like.
It is the Insurance Investigator's task to meet with the individuals involved in an accident to obtain their written or recorded statement, photograph the accident location, obtain police reports, canvass the area for potential witnesses and obtain their statements, conduct blind and cold calls to neighborhoods, and complete town hall research — gathering the facts of the accident and providing the insurance company with an opinion on where the fault lies.
We cover all of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.
Responsibilities include
- Local travel throughout our New England territory
- Fact gathering and analysis
- Report generation of our investigations to the insurance companies
You will need
- Dependable transportation
